Principal's Message

Welcome to Oakbrook School, and thank you so much for checking out our website! Oakbrook is an exceptional school with staff committed to helping children learn and grow.. We are very happy to have your children with us.

It is an honor to be the principal of Oakbrook school and work with so many wonderful students and families. Although I have assumed many different teaching and administrative roles over the years, my favorite roles have been at the building level. I am so happy to be here, serving you and your children. The students are the best part of each school day.

Please know that you are a very important contributor to your child’s growth and education, so I encourage you to become involved with the school and district as much as possible. Consider joining our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) to discuss parent interests in the school and perhaps help plan family activities. You can find more information about our PTO and other ways to support your child by clicking on the links located on our school’s website.

In addition to information about the PTO, you can find other parent resources such as links to the District and School Handbooks, teacher contact information, district calendars, food menus, and the process for reporting absences. Please take time to explore these links. They are great resources.

You may also learn about school activities and opportunities to attend events through our school’s weekly newsletter that is sent out through the ParentSquare app.

We are here to help your children grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Foremost, we want students to feel safe and happy at school. Instructionally, we are focused on developing student skills in early literacy and foundational math concepts.  As our school motto says, “Learners today. Leaders tomorrow.”
